MINI MEGA SPAZIO PLAYKIT

Following the experience at Milan Design Week, Mini Mega Spazio Playkit arrives in Savona, creating an area that integrates playful and participatory dimensions through interactive installations that trigger moments of collective design.

Through a kit composed of modular, flexible, and removable elements, designed to adapt to different contexts, visitors are invited to build, combine, and transform elements. Play and experimentation become opportunities for encounters and transgenerational dialogue within a free and imaginative design environment, where shared creativity sparks reflections on building and transforming collective space.

The activity is inspired by the Mini Mega Spazio project, conceived by Graphic Days®, which brings together participatory urban regeneration activities based on the design thinking method.

LIVE PRINTING

An area dedicated to manual experimentation, a defining feature of the Graphic Days® festival format, which every year offers the public the opportunity to try out artisanal and sustainable techniques such as screen printing, engraving, collage, and letterpress, making the world of printing easily accessible.

A permanent workspace open to all, where every visitor can experience this firsthand and take home the results they produce.

Live printing is curated by Print Club Torino: a social promotion association and creative printing workshop founded in Turin in 2015, a catalyst for a creative community, and the creator of the Graphic Days® festival.

NOTE TO SELF

Guido de Boer’s installation Note to Self. A Recollection of Memories, to be Used Collectively was curated by Graphic Days® for the ongoing Creative Roads festival. It is the result of a site-specific artistic performance created by de Boer within the Manica del Mosca construction site at the Cavallerizza Reale.

The project, conducted in parallel with the C2C Festival and Paratissima initiatives, highlighted a process of regeneration, transforming an area closed to the public into an accessible exhibition space.

De Boer interprets the theme of the memory of places in an intimate way with the aim of sending a collective message: he presents his notes and annotations using the aesthetics of protest signs to invite the public into his creative space and stimulate a reaction, creating works that combine words and graphics.

BEYOND WORDS

A reflection on the role of type design as a tool for inclusion, exploring how typographic design can communicate accessibility, respect, and cultural diversity.

The study of typefaces goes beyond the simple choice of legible or accessible glyphs, considering cultural identity, linguistic diversity, and user needs, thus reflecting the complexity of our global society.

The exhibition features several type design projects from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, highlighting the potential of type design as a valuable resource for building a more equitable world that respects diversity. Through its power to communicate and unite people through words, it offers the opportunity to celebrate diversity and create a more inclusive future for all.

SEEDS OF KINDNESS

The winning projects of the 14th edition of the international design and social communication competition Posterheroes: Seeds of Kindness are on display for the first time in Savona.

Posterheroes is a project, created in 2010 by the PLUG Association, which invites the global creative community to express messages on social and environmental issues through posters to stimulate dialogue and inspire change.

At the heart of Seeds of Kindness is the idea that goodwill and empathy are antidotes to bullying, isolation, and discrimination: a visual exploration of the possibilities of giving shape and prominence to everyday gestures of care, relationships based on respect, to build spaces where all people can feel recognized.

Every year, Posterheroes engages international young people and artists through a democratic and accessible approach; in 14 years, 28,000 posters have been received from over 120 countries worldwide.
